#273 Ryan Phillips - Creativity, being an oddball & How joining the fire service brought out the best in me
Ryan is a Crew manager in the UK FRS. In this episode we talk about aspects of creativity & how finding outlets for this can bring out the best in us.
Ryan is part of a band known as Habilis & on the 28th of December 2023 they released their new song “Rise or Fall” and accompanying music video which you can view HERE
For Ryan this has become the perfect way to merge two important aspects of his life: his career in the fire service, and his need for creativity, music and collaboration with others.
The music video follows Ryan on his journey to prepare for the British Firefighter Challenge as he is "coached" in person by singer, Gavin, and in spirit by his bandmates. The video is sprinkled with comedy and homages to iconic movie moments.
