Incident Debriefs are crucial at the Firefighters Podcast as we believe that knowledge learned from operational activity should be shared with not just all fire and rescue services but the wider sector where appropriate.
This helps us to improve performance at incidents, cope with future changes in the operational environment, develop and innovate to provide the best service to the public and improve the safety of firefighters & other front line responders.
Todays debrief is a short look at an incident attended by members South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service in February 2008 where two firefighters unfortunately suffered serious burns requiring skin grafts had long term life effects.
