Incident Debriefs are new to the Podcast but we believe that knowledge learned from operational activity should be shared with not just all fire and rescue services but the wider sector where appropriate.
This helps us to improve performance at incidents, cope with future changes in the operational environment, develop and innovate to provide the best service to the public and improve the safety of firefighters & other front line responders.
Our first debrief is a short look at an incident attended by members of Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service on may 13th 2016 known as the Flower Factory where they dealt with a large fire and crews experienced several large "near miss" explosions.
